Summary Description: Mulligan Marketing Concepts® was founded in 1989 and trademarked its name and logos in 1991. The company was originally designed to cater to the health club industry's need to raise immediate cash and increase foot traffic in their facilities. The explosion of health clubs and fitness centers in the 80's left the majority of business owners scratching their heads wondering how to capture the market from the overwhelming competition. In additional to the basic cost of running the business the competition left little, if any revenue for marketing. Mulligan Marketing Concepts® recognized the problem and immediately began to work on the solutions. We realized there were two major areas we needed to address. First, identify (profile) the untapped market (individuals who had not already made a commitment to health and fitness) then; find the most effective marketing strategy to get them in the door. But, by far the most challenging task was to achieve all of this at no cost to the club owner. The fact is most owners (in these industries and many others) are extremely cash poor. After a few years of research we were able to design a promotion that targets the market of desirable consumers with disposable income. Thus far we have raised more than forty million dollars ($40, 000, 000.00) in cash with absolutely no risk to the owners. After more than fifteen (15) years of success we began to offer this program as license territories. Today others are using our programs as licensees and are successfully implementing them with great financial rewards. In 2006, after years of researching the Golf industry, I we designed a similar program for the drastically overbuilt, cash poor, Golf industry, suffering the similar woes since the late 1990's. Although there are numerous differences in these two industries, the results are the same; raising desperately needed cash (over $12, 000, 000.00 thus far) at no risk. We currently have five active Licensees in the United States and are expanding our product line to serve other industries such as Health care. We have found our program applies to numerous industries due to our programs universal appeal to the client by offering a cash promotion implemented with no risk that targets a profiled demographic consisting of desirable consumers including but not limited to, baby boomers. We have been building our profile, perfecting our programs and listening to our clients needs for the past twenty (20) years; thus in turn, creating a winning business model.
Cost: We have licenses and Master Licenses available throughout the world ranging from $100, 000 to $500, 000 US.
Facilities: There is minimal overhead cost to operate a license territory i.e. phone, fax, Internet, transportation, hotel, travel expenses, post card solicitation drops etc. One of the most attractive aspects of this business is that it can easily be managed from a home office.
Support: You will receive a training manual, accompanied with brochures, presentation DVDs and continual support and
hands on training as needed and/or desired (all onsite training is at the sole expense of the Licensee).
Competition: Through the years we have had a few "mom and pop copy cats” but they always folded fast. All they were ever able to steal was the materials we gave to our clients and their clients but they were never privy to the behind the scenes intellectual property needed to run a successful marketing campaign/promotion of this magnitude.
